Description of MIPSGAL public data delivery v3.0 29 August 2008

This directory contains the v3.0 delivery of the MIPSGAL legacy team.  The
data is to be made available to the public through IRSA.  The delivery 
consists of 339 mosaics along with coverage and uncertainty maps and
mask cubes for a total of 1356 FITS files.  Accompanying documentation is
contained in the PDF file, mipsgal_delivery_guide_v3_29aug08.pdf.  All images 
and cubes are in standard FITS format. 

The major changes in this release are the availability of the Galactic center 
data and the use of standard deviation mosaics to estimate the uncertainties. 

The _unc_024.fits files should no longer be used as uncertainty images.

The mosaics file names have formats:
	 MGLLLL{p,n}BBB_024.fits for the mosaics
	 MGLLLL{p,n}BBB_std_024.fits for the uncertainty mosaics
	 MGLLLL{p,n}BBB_covg_024.fits for the coverage maps
	 MGLLLL{p,n}BBB_maskcube_024.fits for the mask cubes

where LLLL is the Galactic longitude, {p,n} are positive or negative, 
respectively and BBB is Galactic latitude.  Coordinates are in decidegrees 
and refer to mosaic center.
